One of the most common hiring scams is the fake reimbursement or fake vendor equipment flow.
Do not cash checks or buy equipment for an employer you have not verified independently.
A real employer does not need you to front money and wait for reimbursement from a stranger.
Stop and verify the employer before any payment-related step.
